Hello all, I am in need of ftg ripping blade but i have found an amana age 24 tooth ATB+F blade for dirt cheap. I have really been impressed with amana and figure i would try the german line of blades.

Will a ATB+f leave a flat cut?
Any opinion on A.G.E. series by amana?

There is a flat tooth every third or so tooth. Unless you really push the cut, this blade should leave you a flat bottom groove (if that is what you are after). I have found though that many ATBF blades will still leave tiny ‘bat ears’ where the angled teeth are ground ever so slightly higher that the flat teeth (by design)
