Topic tags/keywords: powermatic tablesaw

I just bought three table saws from an auction sight unseen. I know what you’re thinking… I’m sure everyone has something to offer me for sale….. I know it’s not the smartest approach, but I live in Alaska and the shipping puts most saws out of my reach. So I bought the three in hopes that I might get lucky. Two of the saws are powermatic model 66’s. From my interweb search, I believe they were manufactured in 1986. The third saw has been a little harder to figure out. It’s a delta unisaw and the serial number is 118 – 1181. Is anyone familiar with the model? I haven’t received them yet because they are 500 miles away and I am waiting on the transport company to deliver them. Only two had pictures, the third saw was listed as a sawstop, but the serial number was linked to a powermatic 66. I’m hoping some of the veterans out there can look at these crappy pictures and share some advice. Just for the curious folks out there, I paid $375 for the model 66 in the picture and $260 each for the other model 66 and unisaw. The shipping ran me $500 bucks. I also got two nss m-1 pig vacuums that I paid a dollar each for two hopefully resale and cover some of my shipping costs

Paragraphs, dude. And proof read. Jesus.

It’s like playing where’s waldo for three questions. I found one question but looking at that jumbled mass of text was too painful so I quit.

Based on the serial number, the Unisaw was made in 1956. Also appears to have a Uniguard ovararm guard.

Welcome to LJs. The first pic is definitely a PM 66, the second pic while not a great one has the look of a Unisaw and maybe the experts can confirm that because it isn’t a great picture. I only see two pics, and nothing to indicate a Sawstop. Good luck
