KkHey there, first time posting, excuse the poor formatting. I have a 13” Haussman planer (not a Dewalt, I know, but it gets the job done) that I’m having an issue with. There is a nut that is supposed to attach to the planer head/carriage, but it is floating loose in the collar. It makes it so you can’t bring the carriage up, and when you start planing it doesn’t lock in at a consistent depth.

Pictures below:

If you have a manual, parts, know how this is supposed to look, that would be hugely appreciated. Even if you have this same planer and could just take a picture for me of how this is supposed to be set up, that would be appreciated. I feel like there should be some kind of bracket or a screw there, but can’t find it (likely vibrated off). There is a bolt in the pictures that I don’t know where it goes, however it definitely does not go in that hole in the collar. Hope I’ve been somewhat clear. thanks guys!
