Old parts from a Leg Vise

one end of the wooden dowel that turns the screw is threaded for easy removal

Ohio Tool Co, Columbus O USA is the marking on the part that screws into the leg chop

The threads are gunked up but should clean up well, the nut threads easily up to the part filled with dirt and grime.

As best as I can tell, it was advertised here:

Asking $25 plus shipping, OBO. I just would like to see this used on someone’s workbench and not as yard art.
Shipping weight is 7 Lbs from 80126 to help you estimate shipping costs

Thanks, Mike Goss

OK Mike Goss
Just signed up for Lumberjocks and glad I did because I have been looking for this item for a long time.
I would like to see if the Ohio tool company iron bench screw you posted in October with screw, capture nut, and handle are still up for sale for 20 dollars. You live in Colorado, I surmise, and I live in Cleveland Ohio.
Of course, I will pay the freight and parenthetically it probably weighs about 5-10 pounds.
UPS would be fine. No big rush but I don’t want it lost. If we can work out a deal, how would you wish to get paid. I can write you a check or Money order or Pay Pal. I am trying to match a complete set of these on an old workbench I have. The thread is 2 start Acme in type 1 inch diameter RH thread and is likely a very unusual and no longer made or custom made stub Acme variant. Thanks for your time.
