I installed the Wixey WR510 on my Dewalt DW735X planer this evening. It took no more than 15 minutes and went on without incident. I set my router depth stop to .75” and ran a piece of pine through it. After the initial pass, I checked the wood’s thickness with a micrometer and it was exactly .75”. I then checked it on the Wixey and, again, it was .75”. I then ran the board through a few more passes and checked its thickness a final time. The micrometer results were exactly the same as the Wixey. I am so impressed. I never relied on a planer’s scale before but I plan to rely on the Wixey. I highly recommend it.

I like how you can read it with old eyes without bending (something else problematic for me).
