Just bought a Tormek T-7 to sharpen turning tools, plane irons and chisels. Was contemplating sharpening knives.,

For those who may have it, is the HTK-706 small tool kit worth the money or should I skip it and just continue to sharpen knives by hand?

Thanks

I have the same unit, never bought that kit. Always did what few knives I have by hand.

Like all the Tormek jigs, they work well and speed up the whole process by maintaining the bevel angles. I have all the accessory kits and make use of them all.

I don’t have that kit, but I do have the long knife jig and the scissors jig. they are both very good, but if you get good results without them I’d just keep on keeping on.
