My first thought as he sawed through the meat was that thing doesn’t work.

Interesting and useful for the meat cutters.

In 2006, Gass got a patent for a device that could stop a bandsaw blade in 10 milliseconds. Will we see another patent fight in the USA.

I like how it works with optical sensing of color of the safety gloves. I don’t think Glass will go after them since it is a safety device that was also funded by the Australian government.

Interesting! This would definitely require some serious discipline with your gloves. That optical sensor range is pretty wide in front of the blade. Would be cool to see someone license the tech and adapt it to WW band saws.
