Thought I would post my most recent project on here for you all (my first project post on the forum)

Decided to build my 4 month Labradoodle (Zofia) a bed for next to my chair. She is enjoying it already too.
I still have to stain it but, it’s pretty much finished.

Started with a pallet base, added some short 4×4 legs and wrapped it in Birch plywood. Then I dado’d out some 1×2 pine to cap the ply with.

Nice bed. I see the pooch likes it. I’ve got to build one for my granddaughters lab. She ask me back in early summer for one but I didn’t have time. I’m saving the picture and will build hers like it.

Thanks, real simple build starting out with an old pallet cut to correct size first the wrapped in plywood. Just figure out the cushion size first so it fits good. And yes, she does like it. She is to big to be a lap dog so like I said, built it a little higher and put it right next to my recliner so I can pet while she’s in it and I’m relaxing.
