I have a jewelry box project I would like to do for my granddaughter’s graduation. In the past I have used laser etches with lighter woods. For this one I would like to use either mahogany or padauk. I’m afraid the etch won’t have enough contrast to show up well on the darker woods. I would like to put her name in relief with a bold script font and place it inside a cartouche or frame. I’m looking for someone who would be interested in helping me with this “one-off” project. I’m willing to pay a reasonable price for your time and talent to do this. I don’t need this until May, so there is plenty of lead time at this point to work things out.
Please pm or email me if you can help me or if you can direct me to someone else who can.
