No I don’t work for Lee or anything, but I am a big fan of his Shark Guard table saw blade guard. I am upping to a new SG with the “Mega Mouth” 4” dust port, and the pawls…

Anyway I digress, if you have ever bought one, you know that they are a little pricey, and Lee is aware of that… So until July 4th he is offering a 10% discount on his Shark Guards.

I have an early model (Version 4.0 I believe) and aside from the dust port which back then was a 2”, I love it… And even that, worked great with my old shop vac system… Not so much with the DC though…

I have heard good things about this saw guard, and I understand (from what I read here) that Lee is a stand up guy to deal with. Maybe someday when I have a real table saw and some extra scratch I will invest in one of these tools.

FWIW, I am starting to get the itch for a Grizzly G0691 with a slider. That would give me everything I have in the BT3100, wide rails, sliding miter table, and adding a cast iron router wing I can have my router there, all I would need to do to make my SG for my BT3100 fit the G0691 is swap over to the proper riving knife.

I also couldn’t resist the temptation, I bought a new one with the 4” port and his improved pawls…
