I should have posted here, not on your project page.

You may want to check with Asheville Hardware in Asheville NC.
link http://www.ashevillehardware.com/

They carry a good amount of “interesting wood”, although I think they probably bring in on consignment.

Just across the mountain from Johnson City.

I would also post on Craig’s List in the Asheville area. Lot of people around here like wormy chestnut.

yamoos – looked at your projects page, no sign of any dimensions at all. would like to know how many board feet you have as well as length and width of your boards plus the thickness

OK – I found that you have 2000 bdft and asking $4bdft. are all of the planks planed to 3/4”

Covering with plastic is not good. You are creating a greenhouse effect situation that will lead to mold, mildew and rot.

You said you want to travel west. How far west? I’m in Montana. If you’re willing and able to deliver, we should talk.

So you wouldn’t sell a smaller quantity then 200bdft ($800)to a new 17 year old wood worker? Well I was interested in buying the lot until then. Oh well I guess I will buy some walnut from Bagdad ky instead.
