Took some mesquite logs to a mill and had them canted so I could resaw for boxes.
Here’s what they look like now.

After he finished the cants he gave me some 12/4 bois d’ arc and someTexas oak and cedar.

Should keep me busy making boxes for a while.

Hi Gerry,
Got the logs south of Benson. Guys sells it for fire wood.
Had to really search for a sawyer as most have closed down due to the economy. Found this guy about 50 mi. west of our house. Waaaay out in the desert.
