Topic tags/keywords: exposed joists beams matte clear coat

First post to LJ in several years! Question: what would you guys use as a matte clear coat on exposed joists in a bathroom/shower area? I’d like to protect from moisture, but keep them as natural looking as possible.

Thanks! (can’t get my photos upright! So you’ll have to crane your neck!)
