I ran across a source of round imitation ivory round stock for $6.95 for short 1” dia. pieces and can not find it again. I have looked through all the catalogs I have and cannot find it. It seemed to be in with the sources of wood for pens, etc. I want to use it for ebony and ivory rings. Does anyone know of a source????

Thanks. I did see this one when I serched the web but it is only 3/4” square and I need at least 1” for rings. I’ll have to bore it to .850 to slide over the inner core of the ring so it does not show on the inside.

I’ve found it!!!!
It is Alternative Ivory from the WoodTurners Catalog or Craft Supplies USA in Provo , Ut. It comes in .75”. 1”, 1.5” and 2” and in 6” and 12” lengths. It says it will not yellow over time and can be stained with tea to give it an aged look for replacing real ivory parts.
