The new Wood mag has a Harbor Freight ad with the 2hp DC on sale for 139.00. I’ve got one and it works just fine.(better than the Delta I also have)I’ve had mine for about 4 months and that’s what I paid for it.

I have on of these. I run a small shop in one bay of a two car garage and have the HF DC hooked up to 2 runs of 4 inch PVC that connect my Mitre Saw, TS, Drill Press, Bench Top band saw, bench top sander, planer, jointer, floor sweep, RAS, and sweep for my workbench. It took about 6 months to plan, purchase, and install, and still has some growth and change to come, but I am very happy with it and the HF DC.

I have the DC plugged into a christmas light remote. I keep the control in my shop apron so I only run the DC as needed. I really don’t get as much work done as I would like, but the DC runs about a total of 4-5 hours per week.

My next upgrade will be grizzly replacement filter bags. For the $139 price tag, you really can’t miss if you are on a budget and not a pro using it heavily. I have run my router table and table saw at the same time (they are on separate runs) and it kept up, but the planer really needs everything else shut down, but this might just me a problem with my duct work. I am sure it is less than perfect.

I give the HF 2 hp DC two thumbs up! By the way, I am pretty sure its a clone of the grizzly. Those that are thinking about this tool. Check out the site really helped, because the instructions for setup are REALLY bad.

Thanks for the tip guys.
I have a small Delta now and it’s going to need help when I hook everything up.
It’s tough to beat that price for what you get.

Have one, and it’s used a lot. Added 1 micron bags from Highland Woodworking to keep the fine stuff at bay. I’d buy it again.
