Hello everyone, I’m in the market for a panel saw and have been looking extensively at Felder and Minimax. I was leaning towards the Minimax Sc4 Elite with an 8.5’ slider but the Felder K700 Professional with 6’-8” slider is also very appealing to me. I’m somewhat limited on space and I generally don’t have to rip full sheets of plywood (I have. Festool track saw if needed) so I figured the smaller slider would be a better fit. Minimax does make a smaller slider but it’s only 5.5’ long. I think the Felder may be a better compromise in table length at just over 6.5’.
I was just wondering what anyone’s experience was with Felder?
If you ordered a saw did you wish you had ordered other attachments or options after you started working with the machine?
Did you regret or feel guilty ordering a longer or shorter slider?
Any advice on must have options?
