Obtained a good block plane today and am not 100% sure what it is. It’s an Excelsior base with adjustable mouth and I can’t get anything off the blade. The heel of the lever cap is not dimpled, I didn’t get a picture of the topside of it. The lateral says Stanley on the tail end and has the 4 dates ….Is this an early 9 1/2?

I spent a lot of time on the blade this morning and although faint, I could make out Stanley Rule in an arc at the top of the blade, with & Level Co underneath. Here are a couple more pictures
