Hi,

I wrote a script for Google SketchUp to calculate the swelling/shrinkage of wood by species, region of the country and environmental conditions. It’s useful for analyzing the effects of wood movement on tabletops, frame and panel doors, drawer openings, mortise and tenons etc. It works as a tool in SketchUp. You can get it (free of course) from my blog at http://www.srww.com/blog if you visit in the next few days. After that go to http://www.srww.com/blog/?p=1223 and it will be available. Try it out.
