Besides the cheap plastic slides available from Rockler, is anyone aware of a company that still makes the metal slide hardware used in traditional barrister bookcases?

I would like to make a set of nesting barrister bookcases with glass doors, but I can’t find anyone who knows where to get the hardware. Any help?

Most I’ve seen use a brass rod sliding in a groove in the oak.

Todd said last night on the video that David posted that he uses a professional hardware company. He said that he posted the links in someones blog about loosing their favorites and asked people to post theirs. He said that he posted a hardware company there.

I think Mario has your answer as well. I have seen hardware for those book cases in their hardware catalog a couple years back at Lee Valley.
