I made this box for a friend who lost her mother recently. It was a good learning experience, made it out of scraps of maple and poplar for the top, I ended making a spline jig for it. I finished with arm and seal “Gloss”, I don’t know if I could of used trans tints dye to make the grain pop a bit but was under a time crunch and did not want to chance it by experimenting, any advice would be greatly beneficial, and if so what dye would you use. The Miters could of been tighter but none of them were open, considering it was my first attempt i’m not alright with it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.
