I found a emco-star combi machine and i would like to start using it for some smaller projects.

But the chuck that fits the motor axle is missing.
Anyone who knows what thread it is on the motor axle ?

I have measure the spindle axle and it is 13,8 mm over the tops of the threads.

Have checked on google and found that some emco used m14×1 mm threads. I put in a few pictures on the machine.

Would like to have some help before i can order a chuck to it :)

That thread dimension certainly sounds like it would be something you’d have to find specifically for that machine or have something bored and threaded by a machine shop. 1/2-20 and 3/8-24 are typical standard chuck threads so you might be able to start with something off the shelf and have it modified. What chuck capacity is the machine supposed to have?

Have your say...
