I can find pictures of Millers Falls and Sargents but not just of the bases. All I know is that it isn’t a Stanley. Anybody recognize it? Thank You

Its not a Sargent. I’ve never seen one like it.

Thank You Don W, I have also finally found a picture of the Millers Falls base (no.68) and it has the double ramp style of blade rest. So it is not a Stanley, Sargent or Millers Falls.

The plot thickens…..

I got looking closely at the toe of that plane and thought I saw a curve or indentation where a name or number might go and to my surprise, found that not only was the area in front of the knob “filled in” with a very thick layer(s) of paint but someone had taken a small grinder of some sort and ground off what looks like a name….I assume it is a factory name but I don’t really know. What’s up with that! Here is a picture of what I tried to describe.

There is a Diamond Edge reversible block plane up on ebay right now but the pictures show the base has the dual ramp style blade rest. I sure appreciate you guys commenting on this puzzle. Didn’t know about listing the item number here or not but an ebay search turned up the listing.
