I am not sure if anyone will know this. I am looking to place some decals of some pictures on a project I am doing. I have the pictures on my comp and was wondering if anyone knew how to make them into a decal type to stick onto a project and possible cover with a clear coat or something. If anyone could give me any ideas or point me in the right direction.

I’ve never done it, but I would think some kind of spray adhesive (tape off what you don’t want to hit) and then whatever clear finish you want should do the trick (at least 3 coats?).

Use some reg paper and use a spray adhesive to attach? Do you know if I could use a oil based clear coar over a latex paint? Because I believe a water based clear coat will make the ink run.

Try this in your printer.

Try going to a hooby store that does a lot of business in models (planes, cars, etc.) and ask for “water slide decal paper” for your printer. You can print your own, cut them out, soak in water and slide them right where you want them.

Sorry, descout. Here’s the link as I found it.

However, JimDaddyO has a quicker path to decals. I live in a rural area and don’t have access to all the modern conveniences….like hobby stores (grin). So, my shopping is done online.
