Topic tags/keywords: lumber walnut log identification

So I’ve got a couple of dead trees back in my woods and I was really hoping that they were walnut. Bark looks right and there are hulls near the base of the trees. When I cut them down, however, I was still pretty unsure. If they are walnut, I want to have them milled into boards, but I obviously don’t want to spend the money if they’re not what I want. Anyone here able to make an ID from these pictures?
