Hello again, I need a little help identifying and old dewalt ras. The picture I have posted is not the actual saw for sale , but the seller says it is identical. He believes it is a 1501 made in the early 60s. The seller cant send pictures which makes me think he made be an older gentleman. any help or advice or appraisal would be helpful. Thanks

The Vintage Machinery site has a 1962 catalog that shows the model 1501. It appears to be a 3 hp model weighing 240 lbs. Saw came with a 12” guard but 10” blade is recommended for normal use. Very nice looking saw. Value is in the eye of the beholder. Check the Delphi DeWalt Radial Arm Saw Forum. Someone there will probably be familiar with the saw.

Update, I learned how to use the vintage machinery website, I guess I am being spoiled by google.
