Miter gauge, mobile base, Unifence and all the other accessories are worth the asking price alone, and they are throwing in the saw for free… and that saw looks to have been well cared for and in excellent shape. Probably waited too long though – OWWM rule #5.

Cheers,
Brad

I bought the same saw about a year and a half ago and I’m pretty happy with it. I’m not super crazy about the Unifence…..I seem to have to make adjustments to it a lot more often than a Biesemeyer. But, I only paid $250 for it and it included two extra blades…..So, I really can’t complain. Dust collection is OK, and it also has the metal slide underneath the saw for the dust to travel to the back. I enclosed the whole stand, and it seems a bit better. If you do get the saw, I think you’ve done OK even at $400.

I’ve owned that same saw for over 15 years, minus the fancy miter gauge.

If it doesn’t work out, others will come along. That was a solid deal on a nice complete well cared for saw, but not a screaming once in a lifetime deal.

I spotted a couple of other possibilities on CL:

Rockwell Unisaw – $575 – loads of potential. http://columbus.craigslist.org/tls/5699115556.html

Delta contractor saw – $250 – Add a T3 fence for $183 (I’d offer $200 and see) – http://columbus.craigslist.org/tls/5788982094.html

Honorable mention:

http://columbus.craigslist.org/tls/5732798276.html
http://columbus.craigslist.org/tls/5787271197.html (offer less)
