Shopsmith 10ER
Serial Number ER37978 – Produced about 1949
Motor is AO Smith ½ HP Model CI56J4AMB
This is a very solid heavy cast iron and steel piece of machinery. I used this as my drill press for many years and has an almost 4” stroke. Also works well as a horizontal drill. I have used it as a saw but not very impressed.
Price is $75 and way below what is listed on eBay or other sites. Would like to see it go to someone who can use a low cost but solid piece of old iron.
I am selling two other old iron woodworking machines – a 4” Craftsman Jointer and Delta Homecraft 10” Bandsaw and will make a deal if someone takes all three. I am located in NW Indiana.

The two best selling features are original base parts with casters and speed changer. You have one out of two.If it runs it is well or th the money. I love mine.
