I have an M12 V and the Variable speed control failed
I know some people have bypassed it and use a Harbor Freight VS control
I’d like to do this and dedicate it to my router table as I also have an M12 VE. It’s a pain to take it out of the table
and detach the phenolic baseplate and put the other one on. The screws are very easy to strip

My question is what to do with the wires to get it to run at a single speed. Attached are 3 pictures
If anyone can help me out, I would appreciate it

In the middle picture, just clip the top wire and the black wire and splice them together. That will get you a single top speed. The HF speed control works great.
