Just wondering as I am an electrican. Wood working and animals are my hobby more so woodworking the wood dosent need as much tending to….I do have a small shope 12×14 how about you

Size doesnt matter it’s what you do with what you have ,Yes I’m talking about shops. I’m not harassing you BG. I’ve just seen a lot of folks on LJs who work from very small shops that make the most amazing projects
To answer your question my shop is about 28×30. If you want to tour everyone’s shops there’s a place on each persons profile that shows their shops assuming they have post some photos.

Mine is 24X32 but it’s so messy my work space is about 8X8!

Of course size matters … but that doesn’t mean that you can’t do big things with a small space.

when i lived in ohio my shop was a patio—had to tarp my tools every night
now that i am in tennessee i share a 40×70 shop with my brother

Well I say my shop is small beacause my grandpa had one bigger thain mine so does my steph dad in fact my shed could fit through the roll up doors in his shope quite easily anybody ever done anything in there life so they could have more tools and or a bigger shope

My current studio is about 168 sf as well. I do more work now than I did in my old 3,000 sf shop: http://timberwerksstudio.blogspot.com/2009/11/my-old-shop.html I work mainly with hand tools so I don’t need the large space like I did. It all depends on how you work and what you build. I’m much happier in my current location. I enjoy my work much more now than I did with all the power equipment and square footage.

I too downsized to my current shope from almost twice the size a one car garage to my shed 12×14 the garage was almost 12×24 but mom stored some stuff in there my shope is all mine thoe

Mine is only 12×16. It’s packed, but I get by.
