I have a Hitachi M12 VE and mounted it in my router table with a phenolic plate. I got longer screws to mount it, don’t recall the size

I need to use it free hand and want to remove the phenolic base and put the factory supplied base back on.
As happened in the past the last screw stripped. I bought at # 2 Ryobi screw extractor and can’t get it to work.
I have my original M12V, but it’s not working due to variable speed failure

Any idea how to remove this last screw? I ran into this same problem w my M12V, but was able to get the screw out. I really wish Hitachi would include decent screws with these routers

Any advice appreciated

Didn’t you say you got new longer screws? Hat screws did you get. Are they Phillips? Are they #2 or #3 heads. Make sure you’re using the right size screwdriver. Can you try using an impact driver to get them out? Tap the bit into the screw head with a hammer first.
