Topic tags/keywords: hand plane stanley old plane hand tool

Found this plane at an uncle’s house. Wondering what make and model it is. Can anyone help me out? I wonder if it is parts from multiple brands.

Stamped made in the USA
Frog has a #409 stamped underneath
Lever cap has Stanley Pat. No. 198.750 on it
14” long
2 7/16” wide
Wood handle and knob

I’m pretty sure it’s a Sargent 414 with a Stanley lever cap.
