found on CL, person must be a spouse/offspring of owner because i asked for a model number and if it had variable speeds and got basically nothing. They are asking 125. this is a steal for a full sized drill press right? I’ve never seen one that looked like this.

That is an old craftsman, it is variable speed and looks to have quite a long quill travel. It does need cleaning up offer them less and see if they bite. Check for runout and listen to the bearings. I am guessing it was made in the early 70’s but just guessing.

That is a good light duty drill press rated 1/2” in steel, the long quill travel is nice for woodworking. I have an earlier model, a friend has that one shown-its good.

i told the guy i didnt have a $5 on me so i offered 120. he said just give me 100! too cool

this thing is a BEAST. its so much bigger than my dads craftsman floor drill press. Needs minimal cleaning. I might paint some of the body panels to spruce up this retro machine. It runs great and the vice is a nice addition. VERY satisfied

It’s a craftsman Emerson – based off the Craftsman 100-150 – and some parts are interchangeable with the older models. It was probably built in 1968 or 1969.
