Is this plywood or solid wood? What joints would you use? Other tips welcome!

Honestly that looks like a particle board construction with a wood-like laminate. Just my opinion but the light hitting it makes it look like the laminate is plastic of sorts. As for the joints the easiest would be pocket holes for the hidden joints along the top underside and doweling on the bottom to not show those nasty pocket holes (plug or not I don’t like seeing them). As for the drawer I would use bottom slides to be hidden but cant really see further construction of the table with the drawer pulled out. Good luck with the build

-- 15 hours of youtube tutorials and research for my 20 min project...might need to rethink this...be back in 15 hours
