I recently won a Smart Fortwo Passion Coupe in a sweepstakes, but I don’t drive. They sell new for $13,990, but I’m only asking for $12k. Plus, I’m willing to accept the following in partial trade:

any size Powermax/Jet drum sander
a good re-sawing bandsaw
lumber in good condition
any size drill press

Details of the car: 2010 Smart ForTwo Passion Coupe A very zippy red with a black stripe like this one: Absolutely brand new. By the time I bring it home from the dealership, it may have 20 miles on it, but that’s it. Gets 41 mpg, and has a moonroof. Other technical details can be found here: Located in Denver, Colorado. I can deliver it to the Chicago area/Lakeside, MI, and it’s possible I could be tempted into a road trip to California if the buyer will pay for a plane or train ticket home. Other than that, it needs to be picked up here in Denver. Retail price: $13,990 My asking price: $12k. That’s $2,000 off a brand new Smart car, plus the coolest car origin story of anyone you know.

I’m also offering $200 to anyone who finds me a buyer, so if you have any friends looking for a car, pass this along.

I have a 20” Delta bandsaw and a 15” Delta drill press both in very good condition I would offer up, but even then I can’t afford the rest of what you would be asking for the car.

You should be asking for much larger machines than what you are, otherwise any person interested would still be paying over $10k.

Good luck!
