Ok lumberjocks I have a dilemma. Found a General model 450 for sale with a 52 inch beismeyer fence. It’s 3 phase 5 HP with a14” blade what would i need to do to run it in my garage? He has it for 350. Good saw? Good deal? Is it an upgrade from a rockwell contractor saw? Any and all answers appreciated.

240V outlet and a VFD. Also, according to the manual, that is a 12” saw, not 14”. It also recommended a 2hp or 3hp motor, so verify the motor installed and it’s rated amperage.

Cheers,
Brad

IF its 3 phase ….... then you need to have an electrician in to install a phase converter …. to be able to run this in garage
