Topic tags/keywords: grizzly 5959z table saw tablesaw

I just looked at a grizzly 5959Z 12” tablesaw that i found for sale and was wondering what my fellow lumberjocks thought would be a reasonable price for the saw. I was told the saw is only 3 or 4 years old and it looked like it had very little use. It also has the shop fox mobile base with it. He was asking $1200 for it. I am going to try to get it for $1000. Does this seam reasonable? Does anybody have any experience with this particular saw? Originally I was planning on buying a new 10” from Grizzly, but this one came up and I am giving it some serious consideration.

It seems to me that the 5959 went in the $1750 range new but I could be wrong. With no riving knife, I’d think the $900-$1000 mark would be more realistic. IIRC, the trunnion setup was very similar to the G1023, but with more blade height capacity.
