Topic tags/keywords: mirka ceros sander ros motor loose

Wondering if anyone with an older Mirka Ceros has ever had an issue with the motor being loose?

I started sanding this morning and noticed it vibrated more than normal, and the pad was hanging lower from the body of the sander (about 1/2”). I then realized that the pad and motor could be pushed back into the plastic grip quite easily so it was where it should be, but nothing holds it in place.

I’ve been looking at it to see if there is some piece missing like a set screw to hold the motor in place, but I can’t find anything. It looks like it’s just the wires off the circuit board that are holding it from falling out of the sander.

Anyone have any ideas?
