I’m in need of a guy who knows how to tune a drill press.
I have an older full standing delta press and there are two immediate issues.
The first is when it turns it has a slight wobble. I have tired to correct this but I honestly don’t know what I’m doing when it comes to tuning a drill press.
The second issue is in trying to correct the wobble issue I tapped the press with a hammer. The wobble did not go away and now the press action has gotten stiffer.
does anyone know of a tool guy in this area of NJ that works on tools like this.
I once spoke to a guy on the phone who was selling a piece of machine over the internet and he told me he fixes machines in this area, I made the mistake of not saving his number.
Thanks in advance.

You may find that the cost of repair is more than the drill press is worth.
