Topic tags/keywords: wood shaper king feng fu machinery owners manual question jointer router

One of my neighbors was moving and he gave me a wood shaper. It was made by King Feng Fu Machinery in Taiwan; probably in the 1980’s. It is a model KSP-3 and it uses bits that have a 1/2 inch bore and runs great.

Unfortunately, that’s about where my knowledge ends. He didn’t have any of the manuals on it and I’ve had trouble finding them online. I’m not even quite sure how to change the bits with any confidence. I’m hoping that someone has a manual for this that they can share. If not, can you point me in the right direction? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you. Yes, it is very similar. In fact, I’m wondering if they are manufactured by the same company. Virtually identical.

That should use a 1/2” shaper spindle that will take 1/2” shaper cutters, or 3/4” cutters with a bushing. It should also have (or will accommodate) 1/2 shank router bits with a proper collet. Grizzly has cutters and a router collet.
