I needed a scraper today for some tangled grain in Hard Maple. My hand scrapers needed work and I remembered my little LN 212 scraper, so I used it. Worked great. I had almost forgotten I had it.

Just bought one couple of months age, used it on a few projects and very, very impressed. I have the Veritas scraping plane but find it a little awkward and clumsy especially on real difficult grains. Always have the old Stanley #80 to save the day if needed.

Andre, I have some suggestions/modifications that may help you in my review of the Veritas scraper plane.

Have your say...
