Great table, already went and gave you a thumbs up. And remember not to forget all your lumberjock buddies when you win that awesome sprayer. Even if you don’t let us borrow it maybe you can post a review on it. Good luck I hope you win.

Hey Denis:

I just got off Fine Woodworkings Site. Winner was Chads (LJ), Baptismal Table. Honorable Mention was Dennis’s (LJ) Griffin Table.

A few guys did follow up Comments on Fine Woodworkng. Some of them are NOT very Happy about the Results and the way it was run.

A couple said they thought the “Thumbs Up” was the way to vote. I did also until I Accidentley found the REAL Voting Page. I’ve read comments on your Post here and the other two LJ’s Posts also that would lead me to believe that quite a few LJ’s did the “Thumbs Up” Voting thing also. i.e. they use those words in their replies.

Also: Another guy was REALLY P——D Off about the Judging (“This REALLY Sucks”). The Editor replied and stated a couple of times to various people ””Voting is done by the Community, not Finewoodworking, not Taunton. The numbers are gathered and tallied by a third party in the interest of fairness”.

BUT!! The “Official Rules” state under “Winning”: “On or about July 9, 2010, entries will be reviewed and judged by a panel of Qualified Judges. Judges decision will be final.”

SO?? WHO is REALLY making the Decision? WHO are “The panel of “QUALIFIED JUDGES”??? Did the VOTING even matter?

They will also NOT give you the results of the Voting unless you send them a Stamped, Self Addressed Envelope. Why should this NOT be Posted Information.

UUHHMMMMM? Something does NOT seem Quite Right Here IMHO
