A friend hired me to make an anniversary picture frame that his their last name on top of the picture and their first names below the picture with their marriage date.I made it out of Hard Maple. He wants a Black Cherry finish. So my question is, in what order do I do things. The following needs to be done. Blotch Control with Charles Neil’s product, stain, spray paint the letters and spray clear gloss enamel. I’m not sure what order to do things for the best results. Your help is greatly appreciated.

You got it right, just will have to mask off the frame around the letters when you paint them, and then do your clear gloss over all.

Have your say...
