Topic tags/keywords: thanks

Today I received an email saying congrats on my 8th anniversary being a LumberJock. I don’t know where all of those years have gone but I sure have enjoyed sharing and learning on this great online community and of course a huge amount of friends I’ve gained through my membership here. Thanks to the person who created LJs and to the folks who now monitor and keep the wheels turning behind the scenes & and all of the great friends who contribute all of their great knowledge so that we all may gain valuable woodworking know-how and inspiration.
Jim

Congrats, and thanks for all YOUR posts. They were one of the reasons I originally joined, and remain one of the reasons I’m happy to stay here.

Your freely shared experience and constructive input really DO matter.

Thanks again!

Congrats on 8 years Jim! LJ needs more members like you willing to share, teach and maintain a level head when others prove incapable. Your wisdom is much appreciated by all!

You are definitely a very helpful contributor. Having joined earlier this year, I am a bit addicted to seeing new projects and learning from the various forum topics. The LJ community is great!! Are there ever “family reunions” when LJ gather in person?

Effingham- I spent a week there one night when the train from Memphis transferred passengers to the train to Harrisburg. Then the PRR train broke down.

Grew up near Effingham.
