So far I’ve been getting most of my wood from the shorts bin at Rockler, but I’m in the planning stage of a big project, and I’d like to see what the local lumber yards are like. I’m having trouble finding much on Google. Where do the folks here do their shopping?

Our shop teacher orders all the his lumber from Paxton Lumber ( I think they have a pretty good selection there. He’s always been pretty happy with the stock he’s gotten there.

You might also try Austin Hardwoods. I haven’t been to their location but I’ve heard good things.

I would also recommend Paxton. I have been there and seen their stock and would recommend them highly.
