Hi everyone,
I just purchased a Millers Falls 2-A eggbeater hand drill. It is in excellent condition except for the chuck. I believe that the chuck is missing something as the jaw keeps on falling into the chuck. Does anyone know how to repair this? Is a picture of the inside of the chuck available?

Any help would be appreciated.

Not something I’ve tried, they are pretty common in my area and on and on e bay.

There are three jaws, three springs and a small, machined disc inside the chuck. With the chuck screwed down, onto the shaft, the jaws are pushed to the opening of the chuck and the bit is held. Not sure of the condition you’re describing. It’s been a very long time since your post… Did you solve the problem?
