We just added this to our equipment inventory. I read a review on this web site from a lumber jock who liked it. I managed to grab one on CL in like new condition for 80.00 so I feel I did a good job. I moved my first piece of equipment today with it. I have a R4511 that has been sitting in the dining room for a long time now waiting to get set up so I loaded it in the truck and took it to the shop using the crane. It worked perfect. Anyone looking for a shop crane for heavy lifting, this crane seems to work really well and built strong. Honestly I am not a fan of HF tools and if I own one I usually do not find any good reason to brag about owning it, but this crane is everything we need in our shop and should fulfill any heavy lifting need we may have. My biggest lift upcoming will be moving the drum sander which I think is weighs in just this side of 600 lbs. So maybe that will be the real test for this crane. I absolutely love great deals on CL! Now, tomorrow we begin a new kitchen and we will begin by building 25 doors and 19 drawers along with 20 oak cabinets. Happy woodworking, Jerry -- . |
