I have some wood that has been exposed to excess humidity, is there a way to bleach out the black moldy spots, I’ve tried light sanding but they seem too deep. I’ve cured the humidity problem and I’m aware of the problems with mold and health issues.

Depending on the color of the wood, maybe you could use bleach. I wonder if peroxide might work?
