I just acquired a like new Zefam 20” jointer at a good price. Does anyone have any experience with this machine or similar?

Since I don’t have the space to actually use it, and probably won’t until sometime next spring summer, I’m considering selling it, or storing just storing it (free).

Is this machine worth holding on to, or unloading for a nice profit? My only concern is when I have the room, to acquire a machine of this size in the future will cost me more than double what I paid for this.

It has absolutely no value whatsoever, and nice guy that I am, you can give it to me. Seriously, storing it may be a challenge (rust prevention) but if there is any way to hang onto it until you’re ready, I’d suggest that.

Which do you need more – the 20” jointer or the tools, materials, or vacation your could buy with your profit?

Thanks guys. I’m not hurting for cash at the moment so I think I’ll hold for now. Maybe this will push me to figure out a larger shop situation.

Honestly I would keep it. slather it with grease and sock it away. massive tools like this are really a nieche market, and unless you have the right buyer you may not get the price you would expect. I wanted & searched for a 15” planer for a long time. Everything that I found used was way over priced(700+), a turd, or sold instantly. I found a 20” and ended up getting it for a little over $600.
