Just curious…if I have a cyclone dust seperator set up pre intake, why couldn’t I mount a second Wynn filter under the doughnut ring where the collection bag is now? This would seem to improve CFM. I would guess that it would more than overcome the loss associated with the seperator. I wanted to throw this out to the volumes of knowledge here, because the more I learn, the more I realize there are ALWAYS considerations that make what seem to me to be great ideas a potential mess.
Thanks!

Certainly doubling the size of your filter will halve the restriction created by the Wynn filter. However, how significant this is depends on how large a portion the filter contributes now.

For example, if the filter represent 30% of the total restriction (pressure drop), reducing this by half would reduce the air restriction by 15%. If it represents 80%, then it would be a 40% reduction.

Aside from lower back pressure and improved airflow, the larger filter would take 2X as long before it needed cleaning.
