I was looking thru the Incra stuff and seen the original incra jig and wondered if anyone has one or has used one? It only has a 8” (if i remember right) slide but it looks like it has the same template idea that the LS positioner uses. It’s only $59 and does box joints and various dovetails. Seems cheap/affordable jig for this. The 8” would be enough for drawer and box projects. Cheaper then the $900 I was thinking of spending for the LS TS postioner and router/jointery package although not comparing apples to apples. Decisions, decisions.

I also have one. Although they have more expensive jigs. I think that this is a great place to start. If for some reason that a much better unit comes along, or You want to upgrade, It hasn’t cost an arm and a leg. This one will make a great many dovetails, or joints. It also can be used for a great many other fine detaills and designs . and The price is right.

I have a 24” Incra Ultra that has very little use for $150 in the Kansas City arrea. I bought it used but it is too big for my router table. If you are interested, let me know.

you’ll appreciate the 24” Ultra from Domer. I had the Original Incra Jig, and upgraded it for the LS positioner as I felt the 8” not enough travel for most of my plans (12” boxes)

Ditto PerpLev’s comment. I bought an Original last fall, tried it a couple of times and found little success ended up buying a Ultra amonth or so ago off of Craigslist. My suggestion…buy Doomer’s the price is fair and you will like it much more than you would the original. The Ultra can be used for almost all router table work while the Original is only good for dovetails or box joints.
